I’ve been coming back to this mantra lately:
I am proud of myself for all of my big and little victories.
It seems simple, but it’s one I’ve had to remind myself of more and more.
Because it’s so easy to wait until something big happens to feel proud.
The launch. The rebrand. The “I booked the dream client” moment.
But the truth is, those big wins don’t come around every day.
What does come around every day are the quiet, steady steps forward—the small moments that are easy to overlook if you’re not paying attention.
Waking up and choosing to keep going.
Finishing that one email you’ve been avoiding.
Taking a break before burnout.
Pushing publish even when it wasn’t perfect.
Noticing beauty. Making space for rest. Saying no when you needed to.
Those things count.
They are part of the journey.
They’re evidence that you’re showing up for your life and your dreams—even if it doesn’t look loud.
When we focus on these small victories, something shifts.
We start to train our brains to see what’s working. To hold gratitude.
And the more we notice the good, the more good we tend to create.
Of course, it’s tempting to fall into comparison.
To scroll and see someone else’s “big moment” and wonder, am I behind?
But comparison only distracts us from our own path.
It pulls us away from the real progress we’re making—the kind that might not be flashy, but is deeply meaningful.
So this is just a little reminder (for me, and maybe for you too):
Your little victories matter.
They add up.
They count.
And you’re allowed to feel proud of them.
Big wins are amazing.
But don’t wait for them to celebrate who you are and how far you’ve come.
What’s one small win you’re proud of this week?
Write it down. Say it out loud. Celebrate it.
You’re doing better than you think.
